Our Learning Approaches
ASSET-BASED LEARNING (ABL)
We provide scholars and families, teachers and staff members, with culturally-responsive learning experiences that are transformational and ignite personal growth. Arts, Electives and Character Education support team-building and collaboration among teachers and scholars as they work together to achieve goals.
INQUIRY-BASED LEARNING (IBL)
We provide scholars with high-quality academic instruction in Science and Research (i.e., Reading, Writing, Social Studies). IBL provides scholars with time and space to think critically and creatively, and we believe all scholars deserve engagement with rigorous curricula that are culturally-relevant and relatable to their life experiences.
PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL)
We provide our scholars with high-quality academic instruction in Science, Math, and Technology. Our scholars engage in learning through collaborative engagement with academic tasks that challenge them to do the cognitive thinking and heavy-lifting. Teachers and scholars give and receive each other feedback through the continuous cycle of learning.
